At Green Clean Maine, we are committed to fostering and maintaining healthy community connections in the Portland Area. While we regularly donate in-kind services for a number of local non-profits and community groups, the following is a list of organizations in which we are most active.

Cleaning For A Reason
Through Cleaning For A Reason, we provide cleaning services free-of-charge to people in Southern Maine undergoing treatment for cancer. We’re proud to be the first cleaning service in the area to work with this national non-profit.
Portland Trails
With 50+ miles of trails and counting, Portland Trails is well-known for its success in connecting Portlanders through people-powered transit. If you haven’t picked up a copy of their map, get one today!
Maine Audubon
We’re proud to have a small hand in the important conservation and education work Maine Audubon is so well known for. Our personal favorite is the bookstore at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth – check it out!
Maine Public Broadcast Network
As business supporters of MPBN, we help ensure all of Maine continues to benefit from the unique news and cultural program offerings offered by the network, which depends heavily on contributions for support.
Green America
We are a proud business member of Green America, a national organization of eco and socially-conscious businesses and consumers. Our Green America Seal of Approval means that we have passed an extensive screening process ensuring our commitment to environment and community go beyond our advertising and into everything we do.
Portland Buy Local
We are proud Sustaining Members of the Portland Buy Local campaign. Formed in 2006, this all-volunteer organization has raised an incredible amount of awareness about the importance of buying locally. Their on-line and printed directories of local businesses are especially helpful resources.
